Seth Callahan (Hanover Township, N.J.) stepped up with key buckets in the first half to help keep the River Hawks in the game as the Susquehanna University Men's Basketball team (5-3) won it's third straight game by a score of 73-68 Saturday afternoon over Gwynedd Mercy (6-4).

How It Happened
- Both teams were able to get off to a hot start offensively, as Callahan hit two three-pointers in the first minute of action before the Griffins (6-4) vaulted into the lead minutes later.
- Trailing by as much as ten points at 22-12 and 30-20, the River Hawks used an extended 18-8 run to finish the half tied at 38 with the Griffins. Zach Knecht, Dan Frauenheim and Lukas Yurasits led the way as they all contributed points to bring the team back into the contest.
- The teams went back-and-forth to start the second half as Matt LaCorte, Knecht and Callahan all made shots to open the frame. With the game tied at 50, LaCorte and Dunn scored consectutive baskets to open a 55-50 lead.
- The Griffins took the lead back at 60-58, but a three-pointer by Callahan gave the River Hawks the slight advantage again.
- Gwynedd Mercy was able to tie the game twice more, but could never retake the lead. Dunn drained two three-pointers in a matter of two minutes and also netted key free throws with 28 seconds remaining to put the game away. Callahan and Frauenheim also made important shots from the charity stripe and the River Hawks won, 73-68.

- Dunn had 15 points and 6 rebounds and has been the team's leading scorer in its last two contests. He went 3-for-6 from three-point range.
- Callahan scored 14 points and led the team with five assists while committing only one turnover. He also was the only River Hawk to play over 30 minutes in the game.
- Knecht rounds out the scorers in double-figures. He scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field. He has upped his season shooting percentage to 62%.
