SELINSGROVE, PA — Registration is now open for the 2026 Mike Scheib Memorial Golf Outing, an event dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of the late Mike Scheib while raising funds for scholarship programs benefiting basketball student-athletes at Susquehanna University and Millersburg High School.

Held in conjunction with the Mike Scheib Memorial Tipoff Tournament, the annual outing celebrates Scheib's impact as a distinguished student-athlete, respected leader, devoted family man and proud Susquehanna alumnus. Proceeds from the event help provide scholarship opportunities for student-athletes who exemplify the humility, integrity, faith, determination, leadership and sportsmanship that defined Scheib's life. 

The 2026 outing will take place on Friday, Sept. 25, with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. Participants will have access to the driving range, chipping area and putting greens during registration, while a light lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The tournament will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, followed by dinner and awards.

Individuals and businesses can support the outing through a variety of sponsorship opportunities:

• Orange Sponsor — $3,000

• Maroon Sponsor — $1,500

• Foursome & Hole Sponsor — $600

• Beverage Cart Sponsor — $200

• Individual Hole Sponsor — $150

• Individual Golfer — $125

Those who are unable to attend the outing are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation. Contributions directly support scholarship programs that continue Mike Scheib's commitment to developing student-athletes who excel both on the court and in their communities.

Community members, alumni, friends and supporters are encouraged to participate in this year's outing or contribute through a donation to help ensure Mike Scheib's legacy continues to inspire future generations.
