SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University women's and men's basketball coaches Gabby Holko and Frank Marcinek have announced opponents for their upcoming tipoff tournament games, as well as some notable dates and matchups during the season. 

The men's team will open the 2026-2027 season by traveling to Saint Francis University on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. This will mark the program's first-ever meeting, as well as the Red Wolves' first game since transitioning to NCAA Division III. 

The women's team hosts their tipoff tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 8 as they welcome Christopher Newport, SUNY Cobleskill and St. John Fisher to Houts Gymnasium. The Susquehanna women will open the tournament against St. John Fisher at 6 p.m., while SUNY Cobleskill and Christopher Newport face off at 8 p.m. The consolation game tips off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, with the championship game culminating at 3 p.m. 

The men host the Mike Scheib '78 Memorial Tipoff Tournament on Friday, Nov. 13 to Saturday Nov. 14 featuring Wesleyan, SUNY Geneseo and Kean. Friday's opening games feature Wesleyan and SUNY Geneseo starting off at 6 p.m., while Susquehanna's men take the court in their home opener against Kean at 8 p.m. The The consolation game takes place on Saturday at 1 p.m. followed by the championship game at 3 p.m.

The Women will the travel to Bucknell on Dec. 8 for an exhibition game at 11 a.m., marking the programs' first meeting since 1984. The River Hawks will wrap up the calendar year at the Smith College Tournament, taking on Roger Williams at 3 p.m. on Dec. 30 and Smith College at 3 p.m. on Dec 31. The men, meanwhile, will travel to the Roanoke Holiday Tournament, facing Bridgewater on Dec. 29 and Roanoke on Dec. 30.
