SELINSGROVE, PA (August 1, 2022) -- The Susquehanna University women's lacrosse squad announced its tentative 2023 season schedule for the upcoming spring campaign, highlighted by a Spring Break trip to Clearwater, Florida along with seven home contests. 

The River Hawks get their season underway on Sassafras Field on February 18 against Marymount University at 1 p.m., but then hit the road for three straight games with non-conference tilts against Misericordia University (Feb. 25), Alvernia University (March 1) and McDaniel College (March 4). Susquehanna returns for a Wednesday afternoon home game against Centennial Conference foe Ursinus College at 4 p.m., before heading to New Jersey March 11 for a 2 p.m. contest against Stockton University. 

The River Hawks travel down to the Sunshine State for Spring Break, taking on a pair of Mid-Atlantic opponents as SU battled Arcadia University in Clearwater Wednesday, March 15. Two days later, the River Hawks battle the Hornets of Shenandoah University before returning back to Selinsgrove. Upon return, SU hosts its last tune-up before Landmark Conference play, hosting local rival Lycoming College March 22. 

Conference action opens on Saturday, March 25, as the River Hawks play host to Drew University in the final game of March. April opens with back-to-back road contests, as SU travels to Washington, DC to take on defending conference champions Catholic University April 1 before finishing non-conference play in Glassboro, NJ against Rowan University. 

The following Saturday, Susquehanna welcomes Elizabethtown College to town for a 1:00 p.m. game on Sassafras Field. SU takes on Juniata College Wednesday, April 12 in Selinsgrove in its final mid-week game of the season.

The final three games of the season all come on Saturday, as Susquehanna travels to Moravian University on April 15 before hosting Senior Day on April 22 against Goucher College at 1 p.m. on Sassafras Field. The final regular season game of the season is April 29, with SU heading up to Scranton, PA for a tussle with the University of Scranton at 1 p.m. 

The Landmark Conference playoffs start Wednesday, May 3 with the finals being played on Saturday, May 6.
