DELAWARE, PA - Susquehanna's men's golf team completed an outstanding fall Friday among their Landmark peers in the fall preview of April's conference championships, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The River Hawks' five, entailing

Charlie Betz, and
Chase Maggs, joined forces to wrap up their fall with a 653 score. After a 331 mark on day one Saturday, the team improved by nine strokes with a 322.
Birmingham led Susquehanna with a 22nd-place score of 160, shooting 81 on the first day, including birdies on the first and sixth holes, and 79 on Sunday, also collecting a birdie on six while posting up ten pars, three more than his scorecard on Saturday. Mumau was one stroke behind Birmingham with a 161 for 26th place, including an impressive 77 score on day two, the lowest single day score for any River Hawk over the weekend. After an 84 on Saturday where he made par on nine holes, he hit the course Sunday with a vengeance, nailing down birdies on the third and 15th holes along with nine pars. Spohn turned in a 164 total with a pair of 82's both days. Saturday he made par on ten holes, while Sunday he scored two birdies on the back nine, 12 and 15 to be exact, to pick up his 43 front score with a 39 on the back. Maggs was in close proximity to account for the team scoring with a 171, split between an 87 Saturday and 84 Sunday, including two birdies on Saturday. Betz scored an 84 on day one after making two birdies on 6 and 13, then had a 91 Sunday with five pars for a 175 total.
