BLOOMSBURG, PA - Susquehanna's women's swimming team paid a local visit Saturday to NCAA Division II Bloomsburg University for a matchup with the Huskies. While the competition was fierce, the River Hawks used the opportunity to leverage some best times.

These opportunities presented themselves soon enough in the third event of the day in the 50-yard freestyle. Cameron Alvino, Emma Church, and Payton Kenney all posted season bests, with Alvino a 26.16, Church a 26.18, and Kenney 26.42. Church went on to scoop a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 56.84, while Kenney set a season best at 58.94. Alvino returned to perform well in the 100-yard backstroke as the team's leadining finisher at 1:05.27, while Megan Iannacone served a season-best 1:07.65 and Hannah Nash a season best also at 1:08.16. Over in the distance events first-year Matilda Klinetob continued to drop time in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:34.00, a season best. Breaststroker Mackenzie Moran continued to hone her craft in the 100-yarder of said event, taking in a new season high at 1:11.43, while Kenney earned a new PR at 1:16.62. As for the relays, the team of Nash, Moran, Lebkicker, and Kate Wolford registered a 2:02.14 in the opening 200-yard medley relay, while Sirignano, Iannacone, Church, and Alvino closed out the day with a sub-four minute time in the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:56.72. 

Head coach Kelley Hilliker's team has a busy weekened coming up, visiting York (Pa.) on Friday, Nov. 8 then going up the road to Messiah on Saturday, Nov. 9.
