SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna women's swimming went into the final race needing a win in the 400 freestyle relay to defeat Juniata College. With their time of 3:52.74, they edged out the Eagles by just over one second for the key points to take a 134-127 victory and run their dual meet record to 3-0 in the early part of their season. 

How it Happened:

• Hannah Nash, Jillie Donner, Erika Guche, and Payton Kenney claimed a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:58.83.
• The 1000 yard freestyle saw the River Hawks take another second place finish, with Matilda Klinetob posting a time of 11:21.28.
• Emma Church earned the first win for SU, showcasing a time of 2:06.94 in the 200 yard freestyle.
• Hannah Nash and Cameron Alvino took second and third place, respectively, in the 100 yard backstroke, showing times of 1:03.75 and 1:06.52.
• Jillie Donner and Erika Guche added some much needed points to the River Hawks total, taking first and second in the 100 yard breaststroke. SU posted times of 1:13.66 and 1:13.68 in the race.
• Maddie Lebkicker claimed a second place finish in the 200 yard butterfly, showing a time of 2:27.52.
• Tessa Cronin edged out Juniata's Megan Mikell in the 50 yard freestlye race, showing a time of 26.04 in comparison to Mikell's 26.13.
• Emma Church won the 100 yard freestyle, posting a time of 57.89.
• Nash and Alvino teamed up for a second and third place finish in the 200 yard backstroke, showing times of 2:20.61, and 2:29.87.
• Guche and Donner took first and second in the 200 yard breaststroke, with similar times of 2:43.42 and 2:43.82.
• The 500 yard freestyle saw Klinetob tally second place, showcasing a time of 5:36.71.
• The 100 yard butterfly had Lebkicker take first place, with a time of 1:07.12.
• Erika Guche won the 200 yard IM, with a time of 2:23.32.
• The final race of the meet was the 400 yard freestyle relay, and for SU to claim victory, they had to claim a first place finish. Payton Kenney, Cameron Alvino, Jillie Donner, and Emma Church posted a time of 3:52.74 just edging out Juniata's time of 3:54.03.
