River Hawks Set for Another Breakthrough Indoor Track & Field Season

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University track and field has another few weeks before beginning their indoor season with December's home multi and invitational, though already they show the makings of another fantastic winter as the men seek their sixth consecutive Landmark Conference title and the women looking for their fourth league title in five years. The team is also excited for February's Landmark Championships returning to Estill Field House, where the men and women hosted and swept the conference titles in between 2022 and 2024. 

Susquehanna begins the winter hosting the River Hawk Season Opening Multi and Invitational. The multi portion will take place Saturday, Dec. 6, while the invite will happen Sunday, Dec. 7. The River Hawks return from winter break on Saturday, Jan. 17 for the Susquehanna Invite. They then embark on a two-week excursion to Upstate New York, beginning with Houghton University's Highlander Invitational Saturday, Jan. 24, then Ithaca College's renowned Bomber Invite Saturday, Jan. 31 to Sunday, Feb. 1. They return home for the River Hawk Friday Night Showdown on Friday, Feb. 6, as well as the following weekend's SU Valentine Invite on Saturday, Feb. 14. That same weekend a slew of competitors will head back to New York, Rochester to be exact, for Nazareth University's Division III Elite Meet Friday, Feb. 13 to Saturday, Feb. 14. Their final regular season meets occur the weekend after with the Bucknell Tuneup Friday, Feb. 20, followed by Houghton's Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday, Feb. 21. 

For the postseason Susquehanna hosts the Landmark Championships on Saturday, Feb. 28 from Estill Field House. A privileged bunch will continue their indoor seasons at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships Friday, Mar. 6 to Saturday, Mar. 7, hosted by Ithaca College. The River Hawks hope to culminate their success this season with several tickets being punched for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships from Friday, Mar. 13 to Saturday, Mar. 14 in Birmingham, Ala.
