MECHANICSBURG, PA - Susquehanna men's swimming defeated the Falcons of Messiah University Friday night, 166-95. SU remains undefeated heading into their first major invite of the season.

How it Happened:

• Dan Venuti, Akira Black, Alex Schweikert, and Doug Bell started the day off strong, claiming first place in the 200 yard medley relay. SU showcased a time of 1:41.05.
• Keegan Pence took second place in the 1000 yard freestyle race, showing a time of 11:04.36.
• Doug Bell took first place in the 200 yard freestyle, followed by David Gentile taking second place, Bell posted a time of 1:53.65, with Gentile posting a time of 1:54.20.
• Venuti took second place in the 100 yard backstroke, with a time of 56.06.
• Akira Black claimed first place in the 100 yard breaststroke followed by Joey Wayne in second place. 
• Tim Wetmore took first place in the 200 yard butterfly, showing a time of 2:10.77.
• Bell and Bierman took first and second place in the 50 yard freestyle, with Bell showing a time of 22.86, and Bierman showing 22.98.
• Eskander Bierman won the 100 yard freestyle, followed by David Gentile and Kade Cimakasy in second and third. 
• The 200 yard breaststroke belonged to Tim Wetmore, who showcased a time of 2:20.95.
• Keegan Pence took second in the 500 yard freestyle, showing a time of 5:18.43.
• Schweikert and Bierman took first and second in the 100 yard butterfly, showcasing times of 58.21 and 58.98, respectively.
• Dan Venuti took second place in the 200 yard IM, showing a time of 2:03.06.
• Bierman, Pence, Wayne, and Gentile claimed first place in the final event of the evening, tallying a time of 3:26.40.
