DELAWARE, PA - Susquehanna men's golf had a lot to celebrate going into their weekend set at the Landmark Conference championships. Having seen great improvement over the course of the year by new head coach Ryan Redfern '11, the team looked to give it their all and look to match or exceed their number-eight spot in the Landmark Pre-Championship Poll. They wrapped the first day in seventh with a 324, then settled in eighth place after a 335 on day two with a 659 in the ten-team race. 

Jonathan Spohn led the River Hawks with a 162 for 27th place, going 80 Saturday with one birdie and an 82 Sunday with two birdies. David Birmingham was one stroke behind with a 163 for 31st place with 80 and 83 placements, garnering one birdie Saturday and two on Sunday. Charlie Betz shot a 166 for 37th place off 82 and 84 days, mastering the 16th hole with a birdie there both days. Eli Mumau represented the last of the team scoring with a 168 for 40 on the leaderboard, going 82 Saturday with one birdie and an 86 Sunday. Patrick Bova was 48th with a 179, going 91 Saturday and an 88 Sunday with one birdie.

In a tight team race Drew won the men's golf championship with an even 600, finishing one stroke ahead of defending-champion Scranton who had a 601. The Rangers doubled up with the individual medal as well as Jason Koch shot a three-under-par for the weekend with a 141.
