COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The Susquehanna women's track and field team headed down to Ursinus College this weekend for the Track and Field Festival. A couple of season and personal bests highlighted their stay.
Sophomore
Bella Dauberman highlighted the javelin throw with a new personal best of 33.21m, good for fifth place. Fellow sophomore
Charlotte Houle earned a PR in the long jump, establishing a mark of 4.43m. She also competed in the pole vault, clearing 1.40m. Senior
Sarah Bower was Susquehanna's top finisher in the pole vault with an eighth-place mark of 3.18m. In the distance events
Ava Warner took fourth in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 12:44.91, while in sixth place was
EmmaLia Ciccarello with a season-best time of 13:36.48. Over in the 5K
Julianna Sobocinski ran a PR with a time of 20:18.51, while sophomore
Ayla Kerwan setting a PR as well at 20:46.21.
In the 800
Victoria Urbaez ran her season best of 2:21.91 to take seventh, while senior
Hannah Alderfer ran 26.77 for ninth. Alderfer followed this up with a 26.77 time in the 200 for ninth, along with taking part in the high jump where she placed eighth at 1.45m.
Rebecca Cree was the team's top finisher in the discus throw, landing 31.95m for 14th place.
Samantha Shafer landed in the top 20 for the discus at 29.50m.
The River Hawks have another home assignment Thursday and Friday with the River Hawk Multi.
