Women Open Outdoor Season with a Bang at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, PA - For a few dozen River Hawks, the Susquehanna women's track and field team began their outdoor season Saturday at Lebanon Valley's Outdoor Mini Meet. Comprised of a handful of schools in the region, the women used it as a platform that they were ready for a productive spring.

  • Senior sprinter Ashley Newman led the team in both the 100 and 200 meters. She finished second overall in the 200 with a time of 26.80, while placing fourth overall in the 100 at 12.81.
