GENEVA, OHIO - Susquehanna men's track and field qualified for the finals in both their track preliminary races Thursday to open up the NCAA Division III National Championships at SPIRE Institute. The men's 4x100 relay team of

Mason Winslow,
Austin Hurrell, and
Brandon Zimmerman secured the ninth-best prelim time for the last qualifying spot in Saturday's finals with a time of 40.84. 400-meter hurdler
Benjamin Bulger, who entered the preliminaries with the fastest D3 time this season, lived up to that moniker posting the only sub-52 second mark of the races with a time of 51.99. Both feats were accomplished despite a rainy afternoon and a slick track.
The men's 4x100 finals will take place on Saturday at 1:05 p.m., while the men's 400-meter hurdles finals will run Saturday at 3:15 p.m. Zimmerman opened the River Hawks' three-day stay at SPIRE early Thursday afternoon competing in the long jump, taking 20th overall when his third attempt afforded him 6.78m.
