Women's Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Schedule

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna women's basketball has unveiled the 2025-26 schedule, packed with competitive match ups. Head coach Gabby Holko returns for her 7th season at the helm of the Susquehanna University River Hawks. Welcoming back returning stars, such as Carly George and Julia Pinckert, the women's basketball team hope to enact revenge on their postseason exit last season.

Starting the season with the annual Tip-Off Tournament, the River Hawks welcome the University of Mary Washington, DeSales University, and Gettysburg College to Selinsgrove. SU takes on the University of Mary Washington to start the tournament on November 8. November 9 marks the River Hawks second game of the season where they will take on either DeSales or Gettysburg in the consolation game or the championship game.  

Continuing the opening season home stand, SU welcomes Muhlenberg College on November 15, followed by Juniata College on November 19. The orange and maroon's first road series of the season begins on November 22, heading to Elizabethtown College to take on the Blue Jays. Misericordia University and Wilkes University line up for the River Hawks next, as the team continues on the road for both match ups. Misericordia takes on Susquehanna on November 25, followed by a December 3 meeting with Wilkes.  

A quick home game against Moravian is up next for SU on December 6, followed by the final road game before winter break against Eastern University on December 16. The River Hawks fly south for the D3 Puerto Rico Clasico on December 18 and December 19, as the team from Selinsgrove takes on Union College on the 18th, followed by Montclair State University on the 19th.  

Looking ahead to the new calendar year, the River Hawks start on the road against Lycoming College on January 7 before the team makes the trip to The Palestra on Sunday, Jan. 11 playing Scranton. It's then back home for SU as they welcome fellow Landamrk adversary Catholic on Wednesday, Jan. 14. 

Finishing out the month of January, the River Hawks take on five consecutive road games, all against Conference foes. Drew University takes on the River Hawks in New Jersey on January 17, followed by a January 21st match up at Goucher College. On January 24, the River Hawks leave for Elizabethtown College. Juniata College and Moravian University wrap up the road streak for the orange and maroon. Juniata takes on Susquehanna on January 28, followed by Moravian on January 31. 

February sees the River Hawks start the month with back-to-back home games, with Wilkes University being slated first. Wilkes comes to Selinsgrove on February 4, followed by Lycoming College on February 7. 

With four regular season games remaining, the River Hawks are on the road for two and home for two match ups. Catholic University welcomes Susquehanna on February 11, before SU heads to Scranton, Pa. on February 14, to take on the University of Scranton. The final two match ups of the regular season are both at home for SU. Goucher College takes on Susquehanna on February 18, followed by the regular season finale against Drew University on February 21.  

The Landmark Conference has announced the playoff dates for women's basketball, beginning with the Opening Round on February 24. The Landmark Semifinals will be held on February 26, with the Championship Game being played on February 28.  

Filled with hope and aspirations, the women's basketball team has a competitive schedule ahead of them.
