SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna men's track and field senior thrower Cole Goodwin turned in another highlight performance Saturday at Houghton University's Highlander Invitational. So much so that it earned him his third Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week. 

Goodwin looked to follow up his Landmark Athlete of the Week performance last week with high marks in the weight throw and shot put. He won the weight by coming a hair close to his PR with his second attempt measuring out to 15.32m (his best is 15.33m). He placed second in the shot put at 14.40m, which he also reached on his second try. Goodwin currently holds the best shot put mark in the Landmark after last week's 15.42m, with his weight throw mark Saturday ranking second. 

Susquehanna returns to Upstate New York this weekend for the Ithaca College Bomber Invite and Multi, running Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. The River Hawks return to Estill Field House Friday, Feb. 6 for the Friday Night Showdown.
