El Bachir Diakite was named the Landmark Men's Track Performer of the Year after winning the conference title in 60-meter hurdles and the 200 meters. He set a new Landmark and championship meet record with a time of 8.10 in the 60 hurdles, which punched his ticket to this weekend's NCAA Indoor National Championships in Birmingham, Ala. He is set to run the 60 hurdles prelims Friday at 2:45 PM ET / 1:45 PM CT.
