Susquehanna University Athletics

Cory earned 3 All MAC honors (1st team as a junior, senior), and 2 time All-American in 4 years at CB.

In 1988 he led the nation in INTs and tied the SU season record for interceptions with ten (10). 

He set SU career records for interceptions (26) and INT return yards (400). Both marks still rank among the Top 5 totals of all time in Div. 3 for career interceptions and return yards.
 
Cory also excelled in Track & Field for SU. He was a three-time MAC champion in the Triple Jump, earning All-American honors as a junior, and qualifying for Nationals as a junior and senior. He also placed in the MAC Conference meet in the 110 meter High Hurdles and in the 400 meter relay.
 
Cory was inducted into the SU Sports Hall of Fame in 2002 and the MAC Hall of Fame in 2012.

At Blue Mountain High School, Cory was the Head Football Coach from 2011 until his resignation after the 2020 season, and was named Schuylkill League Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016. He continues there as the Head Coach in Track & Field, where he was also named Coach of the Year in 2011. He also teaches Math. Cory returns to campus when his coaching schedule allows, including to see his son, Jackson, compete in the Long Jump and Triple Jump for Susquehanna.
