Susquehanna University Athletics

SUCCESS: Erich was a four-year letterman and captain of Susquehanna’s 2009 Liberty League Championship Team. He led the team in tackles and earned First Team Liberty League Defense in 2009. He was also named to the D3Football.com All-East Region 3rd Team. Head Coach Steve Briggs called him, "pound-for-pound our best defensive player," a testament to Erich’s leadership and work ethic.

SERVICE: After graduation from Susquehanna, Erich went on to earn his master's degree in public administration from Penn State in 2014. That same year he began serving as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. In 2016, he was honored with the Tom Carter Community Safety Award. During his time at SU, he was active in several campus clubs and activities.

SPIRIT: Following his playing career, Erich returned to Susquehanna as an assistant linebacker’s coach for the 2010-2011 season. He also volunteered at his high school throughout college, assisting with football camps.

ADVOCACY: In 2011, Erich taught English in China to international students at The British School of Beijing. He continued to give back in 2012 by volunteering with the football program at his alma mater - Harrisburg High School.
