SELINSGROVE, PA. (March 24, 2023) – The outdoor debut of the women's track and field program started on a positive note Friday on the first day of Susquehanna's Jim Taylor Invite. Consisting of the shot put and hammer throw,
Maggie Boyer competed in both, opening with a third-place mark in the shot with her opening throw of 12.59m, then placing 18th in the hammer at 38.91m.
First-year
Paulina Biagioni threw for 7.97m in her outdoor shot put debut for 35th. Junior
Delaynee McLeod placed 29th in the hammer throw with her third throw of 32.84m, while sophomore
Chelsea Veith took 43rd with her third release coming in at 18.11m.
The second and much busier day of the Jim Taylor Invite starts Saturday at 9:00 A.M. with the 10,000 meters and discus throws.
