BETHLEHEM, PA (April 22, 2023) – Chloe Yoder once again reached another precipice of her historic spring in the 100-meter hurdles Saturday at Moravian's Coach P Invitational, taking down the Landmark Conference record with her time of 14.09 in the preliminaries. She went on to win the finals at 14.11.
Remi Acord also tapped into the record books, setting a new school mark in the long jump at 5.72m for sixth in NCAA Division III.
Acord also won the triple jump, bringing in a measurement of 11.83m. Her day was far from over, as she was a member of the 4x100 team alongside
Kelly Loughlin,
Addison Yaukey, and
Ashley Newman that set a AARTFC-qualifying time of 50.46, good for fifth place.
Alexa Rine set a personal best in the 100 meters, going 12.54 in the prelims for sixth-best all-time, then placing sixth in the finals at 12.55.
Liza Levin PR'd in the 400 meters, clocking in at 1:00.94.
During Friday's throwing events, Paulina and Rebecca set personal bests in the shot put at 10.22m and 9.10m, respectively. PR's in the hammer included
Maggie Boyer's sixth-place throw of 40.38m, Sarah at 30.56m, and Chelsea at 23.46m. On Saturday, Ainslee Binkley placed second in the javelin when her third throw went for 35.80m.
Susquehanna will run the 4x100 during this Friday's portion of the historic Penn Relays with the group of
Hannah Alderfer, Rine,
Alayna Krempa, and Yoder.
