SELINSGROVE, PA (April 6, 2023) – Chloe Yoder set the fastest NCAA Division III time this season in the 100-meter hurdles on her way to standing in second place in the heptathlon following Thursday's first day of the Susquehanna Multi. Yoder has 2,745 points, trailing just Carnegie Mellon's Elizabeth Barre, who has 3,158.
Yoder clocked in a new PR of 14.05 in the hurdles to win the event, giving her the best national time in NCAA Division III by 1-100th of a second. She also set a personal best in the 200 meters to wrap the day with a second-place mark of 25.89. In between she cleared 1.40m in the high jump and threw for 8.86m in the shot put.
Hannah Alderfer stands in fourth place following day one with 2,595 points, earning the third-best time in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.91 and the 200-meter run at 26.11. She took 1.40m in the high jump and 8.65m in the shot put.
Julia Acevedo is 12th with 1,895 points, running for 17.69 in the 100-meter hurdles, 1.37m in the high jump, 7.45m in the shot put, and 29.34 in the 200 meters.
Day two of the Susquehanna Multi commences Friday at 11:00 A.M. with the long jump, javelin, and 800 meters.
