A four-year letter winner in football, he may be the best split-end in SU history. Bucci holds SU career records for receptions (121) and yardage (1,944). His single game records of receptions (12) and TD catches (4) vs. Muhlenberg in 1987 still stand upon induction. He was All-MAC and All-American as a senior. He teamed up with inductee QB Todd Coolidge to lead '86 and '87 squads to MAC titles and 11-1 record in '86. Bucci also ran sprints in track (400M, 1600Mrelay) to help the team win the MAC Championship in 1988.
