Few college Presidents took a more active interest in athletics than Dr. Weber. Who attended practically all SU home sports events during his tenure at Pine Lawn 1955-77. He received nation-wide publicity in 1965 when he coached the Susquehanna football team for the final two games of the season following the resignation of the former coach and his staff.
