Athletics Hall of Fame
A three-sport star, Vignome earned letters four times in football and baseball and two times in basketball. He ended his career as the sixth all-time Susquehanna rushing leader with 1,309 yards, including his 1964 output of 612, hsi 22 career interceptions established a school record. On the diamond, he was the Crusaders' leading hitter three of his four seasons. After his graduation, Vignone spent three seasons in the Houston Astros baseball organization and later played in the Continental Football League and the world football league.
