A valuable tackle for four seasons, Cassel scored a rare touchdown for any lineman when he blocked a punt and ran it into the end zone his senior year at Upsala. He was a line coach at Susquehanna as a senior and after graduation became a very successful high school coach in the Harrisburg area.
