Susquehanna University Athletics

As a freshman in 1969, Ellis led the Susquehanna track team to a 13-1 dual meet mark. His sophomore year he saw the Crusaders go 10-0 and win the MAC Championships, where Ellis took MAC first place medals in the 220, 440 and mile relay. In 1971 Ellis helped Susquehanna to a 10-1 record and a second straight MAC championship.
