Eric Hancock '93 was considered the best defensive player on one of the best teams ever at Susquehanna. A four-year defensive end, Hancock played on the 1991 squad that posted and 11-2 record and finished as the national semifinalists, just a game away from the Division III national championship contest. The 1991 team won the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) Championship while while the 1992 team tallied a 9-1 record. He was an All-American and an All-MAC selection, finishing his career with a 27-6 record as a starter. For his career, he totaled 140 tackles, 13.5 sacks, six fumble recoveries and four pass deflections. He was voted as one of the Top 100 All-Time Susquehanna football players.
