Difrancesco was nose guard for the highly successful 1960 football squad. He was named a Williamson Little All- American in 1960 and received Honorable Mention in 1961, when he was also voted to the First Team All-MAC Northern College Division, Second Team Associated Press All-Pennsylvania, and Honorable Mention AP Little All-America.
