"Howie" was an outstanding two sport athlete in soccer and baseball. While winning three letters in baseball, he starred in soccer as a two-time All-MAC fullback. Twice named to the All New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware Coaches Association team, he was also voted SU's Best Defensive Player as a senior.
