The only two-sport All-American in his induction class. John was a standout football and baseball player on the Gridiron. He was named a 2008 All-American and was a First-Team All-Liberty League Player in 2009. On the pitching mound John tossed just the 14th perfect game in Division III history in 2009 and was named the Landmark Conference player and pitcher that same year.
