A two-sport athlete, Jo was the mainstay of the field hockey defensive unit which recorded two shutouts and three one-goal games in 1977. She was named to the USFHA All-Star Squad, the team's MVPm and captain her senior year. Also a two-year starter in tennis, she captained the team as a senior and posted an 11-4 overall rrecord in her doubles career. Jo lettered all four years in field hockey and was named Homecoming Queen in her senior year.
