A four-year letter winner in football, Dan was named to the Academic All-American team for three straight years. As a linebacker he led the team in tackles in his last two years, amassing a whopping 367 career tackles including 74 in each of his freshman and sophomore years. In his final two years he had seven QB sacks and five fumble recoveries.
