Susquehanna University Athletics

Danks played baseball for Susquehanna even though he had once pitched professionally. He was signed to an athletic scholarship with the university of Alabama and, after one year, signed with the Boston Red Sox. After a serious arm injury, Danks enrolled at Susquehanna, where he finished his athletic career. He was later a highly successful high school football coach.
