Scheib is one of the only two SU players to achieve national recognition in basketball. A lightning quick point guard who could "do it all". He played two years for Barry Keaule and two for Harnum. He was an All-MAC player for 3 years, leading scorer his junior and senior years, was voted the F.P' Naimth Award winner for the  Nationalist Player Under 6 feet tall in 1978. He received his award at the Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. His number 20 jersey is retired.
