Three-sport star and captain of the football, basketball and baseball. Teams during his days at SU Sweeley's  most notable exploit occurred when his touchdown defeated Bucknell 10-9 in 1916. The only time a Crusader has managed that feat. Sweeley's football teams played big football powerhouses such as colgate, Fodrham and Army. His 1920 team astounded the nation playing colgate to a scoreless tie.
