Playing for his dad, Don Senior, for only two years, following two years at Shippensburg, Harnum still joined the 1000-point club as a senior. His 697 points as a senior ranks second on the all-time season list. Don was named First Team All-MAC in both years and as a senior was also MAC North MVP, All-Mid Atlantic, GTE First Team Academic All-America and SU's first Basketball Coaches Association First Team All-American. His 23.3 points per game led his team to a 22-8 record, the MAC title and the program's first "Elite 8" NCAA appearance.
