Randy was a four-year member of the Crusader football team. He was a three-time All-MAC, first-team honoree and a 2000 Hewlett-Packard All-America Honorable Mention. The same year in which he was named the MAC Offensive Lineman of the Year. Zook helped Susquehanna to MAC Commonwealth Championships in 1998 and 1999 squad earning D3football.com "Team of the Year" honorable mention.
