Tom was an All-American as a defensive back in football in both '83 and '84. SU winning the MAC Title in '84. He ranks 1st in SU punts returned (88) and punt return yardage (626) and third in career interceptions (119). Tom started in baseball, was named to the All-Mac Team his last two seasons and ranks 2nd in batting Ave. for a season (.466) and 2nd in stolen bases (51). He was the winner of the Blair Award as a senior.
