Fullback on coach Bill Ullery's undefeated 1932 squad, Hanna lettered for four years in football, track and baseball and one year in basketball. He earned second-team All-East honors as a fullback, held records in the javelin and discus, and was the baseball team's leading hitter and captain for two seasons.
