Athletics Hall of Fame
A pioneer in modern day women's sports at SU, Sherry joined with Hall of Famer Janeen Kruse Wadzita in establishing respect for women's sports. She lettered all four years in basketball serving as co-captain with Kruse for 3 years. As a junior and senior she was a leading scorer and rebounder. As a player in field hockey, volleyball, and softball she had a continuous presence in athletics. Playing outfield on the first two SU softaball teams she batted above .300 both years.
