Eisenhower was a starting tackle offensively and defensively on four SU football squads, including the undefeated 1932 team. A highlight of his gridiron career was deflecting a Haverford pass attempt and taking the ball some 70 yards into the end zone for the only score in a 6-0 Susquehanna victory in 1933. He also earned four letters on SU baseball teams and two letters on the basketball court.
