Zimmerman was a four-year starting goalkeeper for the field hockey team and earned All-MAC Honors as a senior. She finished that season with a 090 goals-against average and nine shutouts and remains the All-Time career saves leader at SU with 714 as well as the leader in shutouts with 15. On the lacrosse field, Zimmerman notched 451 career saves in 43 games, to rank second in program history during her senior campaign. She finished second in the MAC in both goals-against average and save percentage.
