Bartosic was a two-time All-American (2002, 2003) who became the first player in NCAA history at any level to post four consecutive 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons. Bartosic was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2002 after also being named the Rookie of the Year in 2000.

He is the school record-holder in career receptions (275), yards (4,733), touchdown receptions (55), all-purpose yards (5,857) and career points (354). Bartosic also holds more than several single season records, including receptions, receiving yards, touchdown receptions and all-purpose yards. He is currently tied for first with 30 points in a single game and holds six of the top seven spots of single-game receptions.

He still ranks among the top four in Division III history in career receiving yards, touchdown catches and receiving yards per game. Following graduation, Bartosic signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004.
