One of SU's All-Time great athletes, Watkins earned four letters in both football and wrestling -- also gaining All-America Honors in both sports he was named MAC Player of the year in 1992. Making 101 tackles as a linebacker and leading the crusaders to a 9-1 record in wrestling he was twice an All-American at 190 lbs. and a three-time MAC Champion he had a career record of 81-16-1, named outstanding male Scholar-Athlete as a senior.
